What does Digital Literacy II cover, and is it treated as an ICC module?

Are AUS courses considered part of the ICC modules? Is enrollment required for everyone? I’ve noticed that none of my STEM or NBS peers need to enroll. Could it be that this course is exclusively for COHASS students?

From my experience, Digital Literacy II appears to be designed as a foundational course covering essential modern tech skills rather than being exclusively categorized as an ICC module. The content is suitable for a broader range of students, not just those in COHASS. Its curriculum includes practical digital skills that benefit anyone regardless of their main field of study. Although the course structure might be integrated differently across various departments, it generally isn’t restricted to any single group. It is always best to consult with the administration or course advisor for specifics related to enrollment policies.

hey, from what i’ve seen, digital literacy ii is your basic tech skills make-up, not really an icc mod. seems open to most so double-check with admin if it’s meant just for cohass

hey all, from what i see digital literacy ii is a general tech skills course—not just for cohass or as an icc module. it’s designed for most. check with admin for any specifics if u need clarity on how its used in your department.

From my perspective, Digital Literacy II provides a comprehensive framework that equips students with practical skills in using digital tools and evaluating online information, which are increasingly essential in both academic and professional settings. It is not strictly categorized as an ICC module and is designed to be accessible to a wide range of students outside of any specific faculty such as COHASS. My experience suggests that the course is intended to foster digital competency across disciplines, so while some enrollment guidelines might vary, its benefits clearly extend to anyone in need of solid digital literacy skills.

Hey everyone, I’ve been mulling over Digital Literacy II too, and from what I gather it’s pretty much set up as a core skill builder rather than being locked down to just one group like COHASS. I’m wondering if some of you have dug into the admin guidelines or campus announcements? It seems like the course could really benefit anyone looking to get a grip on current tech trends, regardless of your major. Have you noticed any subtle differences in how enrollment is handled between faculties? Would love to hear if anyone else has had a chat with their advisors about whether this course is a must-take or more of a nice-to-have. What do you all think about how these courses are structured across different departments?
