Seeking CFA Level 1 Study Partner for February 2026 Exam

Hi folks!

I’m gearing up for the CFA Level 1 exam in February 2026 and would love to team up with someone who’s on the same path. It’d be awesome to have a study buddy to keep each other motivated and on track.

A bit about me:

  • Based in India
  • Super into finance, investing, and econ
  • Currently hitting the books hard on accounting and financial modeling
  • Aiming for 800+ study hours for this exam
  • Looking to build a solid career in the finance world

If you’re also prepping for CFA or just want to grow in the finance field, let’s chat! We could swap study tips, talk through tricky concepts, and help each other stay focused.

Anyone else out there feeling the CFA grind? Drop a comment if you want to team up!

I’ve been through the CFA Level 1 grind and can offer some insights. First, 800+ hours is ambitious but doable if you’re disciplined. Focus on the weightier sections like Ethics and Financial Reporting & Analysis. Schweser Notes were invaluable for me, especially their practice questions. Don’t underestimate the importance of mock exams - they’re crucial for time management on test day. Lastly, join your local CFA society; they often host study groups and exam prep sessions. Good luck with your studies, and remember to maintain a work-life balance throughout your prep.

hey there! im also prepping for the feb 2026 cfa L1. based in mumbai, working in equity research. wud love to team up & tackle this beast together. maybe we coud set up weekly zoom calls to review tuff topics? dm me if ur interested, lets crush this exam!

Hey WhisperingWind! Wow, you’re really on top of things planning for 2026 already! That’s some serious dedication.

I’m actually eyeing the same exam, but I’m not quite as organized as you yet. Mind if I pick your brain a bit? What made you decide on 800+ study hours? That’s a lot! Do you have any specific strategies for staying motivated over such a long prep period?

I’m super curious about your background too. What area of finance are you most passionate about? I’m personally fascinated by behavioral finance and how psychology impacts investment decisions.

Oh, and have you checked out any study groups or forums specifically for CFA candidates? I’ve heard they can be pretty helpful, but I haven’t dived in yet. Maybe we could explore some together?

Anyway, I’d love to chat more and maybe team up for some study sessions. It’d be great to have someone to bounce ideas off of and keep each other accountable. What do you think?
