Looking for Input on a Proposed Digital Skills Initiative in San Antonio

I’m seeking community feedback on a San Antonio project to improve digital abilities among underserved groups through educational workshops, strategic partnerships, and volunteer efforts. What improvements might you suggest?

Having been involved in a similar initiative in Houston, I suggest incorporating a system for follow-up support to sustain the skills learned in the workshops. It is crucial to establish a mentoring program that pairs participants with professionals who can offer ongoing advice and motivation. Emphasizing practical applications tailored to local needs, as well as ensuring easy access to resources in multiple languages, can further increase engagement. From my experience, creating a feedback loop where participants can share challenges and success stories will not only improve the initiative but also foster community resilience.

hey i couldnt agree more on adding interactive, hands on sessons. rough experiments and immediate local support might really help so ppl not scared of tech can try wt at thier own pace. i think flexible, informal meet ups would suit san antonio well.
