Review the bill’s provisions and share improvement ideas on securing funding, protecting student privacy, and maintaining classroom focus. What changes do you propose?
i think the bill could be better if they got more grants and local tech support, avoid heavy govt oversee. best to leave privacy opt-ins for parnts and include teachers in decision making, im not sold on strict measures in clasrooms.
Hey everyone, I’m really interested in this discussion! I’ve been thinking about how we could push the boundaries a bit more. What if instead of just focusing on localized funding, schools collaborated with community tech partners who could provide both financial support and hands-on expertise? It might create a sort of internship pathway where students could get directly involved in tech projects that help manage privacy protocols, which in turn would make classroom tech policies more robust. I wonder if anyone else has ideas on unused local resources that could be tapped into? Do you think there’s a benefit in having a rotating panel of educators and tech professionals to monitor and update these policies? Keen to hear more thoughts on this – and of course, keep the privacy of students front and center
