Hey everyone, I just finished a pricey traffic safety class. It was quite an experience!
The class started off with this fancy older lady giving the teacher a hard time. She kept saying she didn’t belong there.
When we did introductions, it turned out we live in the same neighborhood. The teacher joked and asked if we knew each other. I couldn’t help myself and said, “Yeah, I think you zoomed past me on the road last week!”
Everyone cracked up, except for her. She looked super annoyed. Man, her face was priceless!
Has anyone else had funny moments in these classes? I’m curious to hear your stories!
lol yeah those classes can be wild! i had this one dude who kept arguing with the teacher about everything. like, chill bro we all just wanna get outta here
but tbh i learned some good stuff. especially bout checking blind spots. didnt realize how much i was missing before!
anyone else pick up useful tips?
Oh man, your story cracked me up!
I’ve never actually taken a traffic safety class, but now I’m kinda curious what I’m missing out on. Sounds like prime people-watching material!
I gotta ask though - did the fancy lady lighten up at all during the class? Or was she in a mood the whole time? I’m picturing her sitting there with her arms crossed, giving everyone the stink eye.
Also, I’m dying to know - what was the most ridiculous excuse someone gave for being there? In my mind, there’s always that one person who swears the stop sign “came out of nowhere” or something equally absurd.
Have you noticed any changes in your driving since taking the class? I’ve always wondered if those things actually make a difference or if people just go back to their old habits once it’s over.

I’ve been through a few of those classes myself, and they’re certainly an experience. In my last one, we had this guy who kept falling asleep and snoring loudly. The instructor had to keep waking him up, which was both amusing and frustrating for everyone else.
One thing I found useful was the section on defensive driving techniques. It made me more aware of potential hazards on the road. I’ve definitely adjusted my following distance since then.
The most memorable part was when we had to watch those graphic accident videos. They’re pretty intense, but I guess that’s the point. It certainly made me think twice about speeding after that.
Have you noticed any changes in your driving habits since the class? I’m curious if others found it as impactful as I did.
