Emulating 90s Educational Software on a Virtual Machine

I’m creating a retro-style computer for my nephew’s 6th birthday using a Lenovo M900 as the main system. I plan to utilize a virtual machine or Hyper-V to run Windows 95 or 98. My goal is to install various educational games from the 90s, such as Math Blaster, Reading Blaster, Oregon Trail, and the Dr. Brain series—games that I fondly remember from my childhood. Are there any resources or guides available that could assist me with this project? I believe it’s important for him to engage with classic software instead of modern distractions.

you could check out the vogons forum or dosbox website, they’re great places for advice on retro gaming setups. also, github sometime have old software ready to run on modern systems, so it might save you time. and don’t forget to hunt forums for iso files for those classic games!
