Can you recommend practical Domain Driven Design training programs?

I’ve been diving into Domain Driven Design (DDD) lately. Reading books and trying out small projects has been great, but I feel like I’m missing something. I want to learn from someone who really knows their stuff and has used DDD in real-world situations.

Are there any workshops or classes where I can get hands-on experience with DDD? I’m looking for something that goes beyond just theory. It would be awesome to work on projects with guidance from experts. Has anyone here taken a course like this? What was your experience?

I’m open to online or in-person options. My main goal is to level up my DDD skills and learn best practices from people who’ve been there and done that. Any suggestions would be really helpful!

I’ve been through a similar journey with DDD, and I can definitely recommend the ‘DDD Practitioners’ program by Strategic DDD. It’s an intensive 6-week online course that really dives deep into practical applications.

What sets it apart is the focus on real-world scenarios. You work on a complex domain problem throughout the course, applying DDD principles step-by-step. The instructors are seasoned professionals who’ve implemented DDD in various industries.

The weekly live sessions for Q&A and code reviews were incredibly valuable. They also have a vibrant community forum where you can discuss challenges with peers and instructors.

It’s not cheap, but the skills I gained were worth every penny. Just be prepared for a significant time commitment – it’s quite intense. If you’re serious about mastering DDD, this program could be exactly what you’re looking for.

hey, i took a course from DDD Academy last year. it was pretty good, lots of hands-on stuff. we worked on real projects and the instructor had tons of experience. they do live coding sessions which were super helpful. might wanna check em out!
