What do you think about AMA University's online graduate programs? Is it a sound investment for advanced studies?

Hello everyone,

I have recently decided to pursue an MBA through an online program. While considering my options, I was pleased to receive an early acceptance from AMA University, which, however, charges approximately 40k per term. This high cost has given me pause about investing so heavily in my master’s degree. I am now wondering if there are other reputable online schools offering graduate programs at a more affordable price point—around 20-25k per term. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

i think it’s about real support & network - not just cost. a cheaper program might be cool if it offers solid connections and hands on help. be sure to dive into alumini feedback before committing.

hey, i think online grads are worth it if they really deliver. check out faculty quality, not just cost, bc sometimes paying more means better convect of learning. consider reviews & accreditations too, might find a sweeter deal than ama univ.

Hey everyone, I’ve been mulling over the whole balance between cost and quality too, and I’m curious about what some of you have experienced. I totally get why paying 40k per term might seem steep, but sometimes a bit of extra investment can bring in some extra resources or industry ties that you might not get with cheaper alternatives. I’m wondering if anyone here has taken a shot at checking out other universities that fit into that 20-25k range? How do their course offerings compare in terms of course depth, networking opportunities, and support systems? I’m really curious about what it’s like to have that personalized touch versus more expensive brands like AMA. What kinds of factors did you weigh when thinking about different programs? Let’s chat and dig a bit deeper into this – I think there might be more hidden gems out there if we pool all our experiences together!

While I have not attended AMA University’s online program myself, my personal research and interaction with alumni from similar programs indicate that online graduate degrees can be a sound investment if they are backed by robust support structures and strong academic content. Cost, however, is not the only factor to consider. Accreditation, career support services, and the quality of the faculty can significantly affect your long-term career prospects. It may be worthwhile to explore programs in the 20-25k range that offer comparable learning experiences and industry connections.

Hey all, I’ve been following the thread with interest and can’t help but wonder about the hidden gems out there. It seems like sometimes you get more than just a degree from a program—like genuine mentoring and industry connections that really make a difference. I think it’s super important to consider not only the sticker price but also what you’re getting in terms of personal growth, career services, and that sense of community that can really boost your career in the long run. Has anyone experienced a program that was incredibly well-rounded yet more affordable than the mega pricey options? What sort of support or networking perks tipped the scales for you? Would love to hear your thoughts and personal experiences so we can all get a better picture of the trade-offs involved!
