Best online resources for learning C# programming

Hey everyone! I’m looking for good online resources to learn C# programming. Does anyone know of any free video courses or tutorials? I’ve heard some universities use C# in their intro classes. Are there any open courseware series from these schools?

I’m really hoping to find a structured approach, like a full semester course that covers everything from basics to more advanced topics. Something that takes a few months to work through would be ideal.

Has anyone here taken an online C# course they’d recommend? Or maybe you know of a university that shares their programming lectures online? I’d love to hear your suggestions!

Thanks in advance for any help. I’m excited to dive into C# and hoping to find some solid learning materials to guide me along the way.

Hey ExploringStars!

I totally get where you’re coming from with wanting a structured approach to learning C#. Have you considered checking out edX or Coursera? They often have university-level programming courses that might hit the spot for what you’re looking for.

I’m curious - what’s drawing you to C# specifically? Are you thinking of getting into game dev with Unity, or more interested in the .NET ecosystem? Knowing your end goal might help narrow down the best resources.

Oh, and don’t forget about coding challenges! Sites like HackerRank or LeetCode have C# sections that can be great for practicing once you’ve got the basics down. They really helped me solidify my understanding.

Anyone else have experience with university open courseware for C#? I’d be super interested to hear about that too!
