Are online learning programs truly beneficial?

I recently found out that enrolling in my desired university isn’t feasible owing to soaring expenses. Instead, I’m considering digital education courses similar to popular online offerings. However, my mother maintains that such courses rarely deliver real benefits, even though my uncle once successfully completed one. I’m curious whether these virtual programs genuinely open doors to success and if the time invested in them is truly worthwhile.

Hey Nate, I totally get where you’re coming from. I’ve noticed that online courses can really open up some cool opportunities, especially if you’re someone who’s driven and curious about learning new things. It’s fascinating how many success stories are popping up that rely entirely on self-paced, digital learning, even if the idea can feel a bit uncertain at first. I wonder, have you looked into any courses that offer hands-on projects or community interaction? Sometimes it’s the extra bits of engagement that make a huge difference in understanding and applying what you learn. Would love to hear what criteria you think makes a course truly valuable in this digital era.

i think online learnin can be really worth it if u put in the work. it isnt a magic cure, but if you’re self motived, you’ll pick up skills that matter in the real world
